Augie is a great little guy with a sweet personality. He is good with other dogs and does well meeting new people. We don't know how he is with kitties. Augie remains positive and a pleasure to be around. He loves attention and savors a gentle rub. He is house trained and is happy to get his sleep.

Augie came to POMDR with what seemed to be an anal carcinoma. The procedure to remove the mass went well, and it is now believed to be benign. He will continue to be screened and the area monitored, but Augie is recovering well and has a foster home where he will be given time to recuperate.
Augie came to us from Salinas Animal Services where he came in as a stray. His guardian was found, but they ended up surrendering him to the shelter because they could not afford the vet care that he needed.

If you would like to meet Augie, fill out our online adoption application.

Sandy is incredibly sweet with new people. She tends to cruise around the yard, enjoying her time to explore. Sandy can be a little shy at first but will become comfortable and crawl up into your lap for a snuggle. She does well meeting dogs of all sizes. She also lived with a kitty before and did just fine.
Sandy was surrendered to us when her guardian became ill and could no longer care for her. She has been a very loved family dog.If you would like to meet Sandy Doxie,

These two ladies were litter mates and have never been apart. They are very sweet and cuddly, friendly with people and great with other dogs. They would love a walk or just being outside and exploring. They are gentle with kids and easy to feed, as they are happy to ingest anything.
These sisters need to be in a home without stairs. Ruby has had spinal surgery and is doing great, but should not be going up stairs whatsoever. She will enthusiastically follow Lucy if allowed, so her ideal future family won't have stairs that the girls have access to.

These ladies came to POMDR when their guardian passed away suddenly and now are looking to bring their love to a new family.

If you would like to meet Ruby and Lucy, fill out our online adoption application.

Device plans to help veterans at Wytheville Community College is a valuable article for the understudies of the organization. Gaining alongside the examination can improve things for an understudy. A debt of gratitude is in order for sharing such a chance.
